Explanation
These maps are the results of us converting all of the IP addresses of any IP address that we were able to identify that joined or quit an active botnet. When more than one drone was within a certain geographical and pixel distance on the map, the size of the circle representing that point has been increased in size to represent the greater quantity of infected systems. These maps are the combined information for the specified period of time.
Note: With the 2007 drone locations we have also included the 2007 scan targets. It is clear from the charts the the more targeted areas are resulting in a greater infection rate. The 2007 trend show drone growth in areas of emerging or growing networks.

These maps are generated once per period, and not regenerated.
