Best Wishes Matt Jonkman
On November 16, 2007, Matt Jonkman announced he is leaving the Bleeding Edge Threats project. Matt was the founder of what was then Bleeding Snort, and has been its admin for the past 5 years. Matt has been a friend of mine and of Shadowserver since the early days. He was instrumental in helping us out when we first started, providing servers and a web presence. The synergy that has developed between Shadowserver and Bleeding Edge Threats is in no small part due to Matt's vision and talent.
I want to wish Matt well in all that he does. I'm sure he'll be applying his talents to some very cool areas in the infosec world before long.
Thanks for everything Matt, we look forward to hearing from you again soon!
As for the rest of the guys at Bleeding Edge Threats... you guys totally rock. You all do some amazing work, and are an instrumental part of the security programs within many companies and organizations. We at Shadowserver care about this project and your continued efforts. We look forward to continuing and supporting any and all future collaborative efforts.
